A wealth of donations

We are extremely grateful to the School community at large for its wonderful response to the Donate-a-book-to-the-Library program. During the month of August, the Library received nearly $1500 worth of new books which have already been catalogued and are out on loan. Each year the Library depends on the Book Week program to augment the Library collection, and there has been much excitement and anticipation among students wanting to borrow the new books! A big thank you to everyone who made a donation.

It was also a great pleasure to send in Tarremah’s donation to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Proceeds from the Book Week Assembly and the Big Pre-Loved Book Sale raised approximately $450. For details on how this money will be distributed and spent, see the website: www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/‎
