Online resources for teachers


Scootle is a ‘one-stop-shop’ for teachers with access to more than 20,000 digital resources aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
A website from the ABC which offers games, videos and slideshows for students of all ages focusing on English, Maths, Science and History. Includes sessions for teachers and parents.
Behind the news is a news program aimed at school-aged children. The BtN website features full length episodes. Within the stories tab you can also search for episodes as far back as 2005. It includes quizzes and teacher resources.
Khan Academy is website dedicated to providing free information on a great range of topics through online videos. There are over 4000 micro lectures featured on this website.
Cosmos magazine features articles about current scientific issues. The website gives you access to topics covered within the magazines using information, videos and related blogs. There are also free e-journals and teachers notes, but you do need to sign up to access the teacher resources. Issues of Cosmos are also available within the Tarremah Library and on the Library iPad.
ABC iview provides free online access to ABC-TV programs aired in the past.
The TMAG website presents information about permanent and recent exhibits on display at the museum. Within the Learning and discovery tab there is information on teaching resources and programs offered by TMAG. TMAG_Logo
Waldorf Library This website has been collated to provide information about Steiner Education resources and their availability. There is a number of PDF ebooks that can be downloaded from this site to your computer or electronic reading device.
AMT is a national non-profit organisation that supports and encourages the teaching and learning of maths. You can download the AMT newsletter Maths Matters from this website.

is an educational association that promotes the role of literacy learning in schools and extended study.
The RSA provides summaries and extracts of a large number of Steiner’s lectures, books, articles and essays.
